Hamilton Association of Basketball Officials annual referees development camp will be held at Hillfield-Strathallan School on Fennell Ave. from Mon. August 11 to Wed. August 13, 2008.
The camp is FREE to all participants - previous experience is not necessary. You do not need to attend all 3 days or full days in order to participate.
Each day
officials will meet in the 2nd floor cafeteria at 8:30 am - directions to the
cafeteria will be posted inside the school near the Main gym doors. The games will be played in both gyms (Main & Aux).
Morning Session:
 |
Classroom sessions will be held from 8:30am until 10:00am. |
|
Games from 10:00am to 11:40am. |
|
Lunch from 11:40am to 12:30pm. (no games will be played) |
Afternoon Session:
|
Classroom sessions 12:30pm to 2:00pm |
|
Games from 2:00pm to 3:40pm in both gyms (Main & Aux). |
|
Back to classroom for debriefing on day situations. |
To register,
please complete the Camp Registration Form,
including what days you will be attending. Bring running shoes, shorts and
T-shirt. Also
a pen and pad of paper to take notes.
